Lamber Beach Re-Design
Play woth Light and Water
Lamber Beach is a historical site. We plan to renovate it to be a changing room for the water and a dinning area for the whole park. The existing body of wall used beautiful ripple stones which create texture shadow on its facade. To reinforce this advantage, the concept is to provide a sequence of light pattern to high light the playful site.
A butterfly roof prevent rain drop onto surrounding users and also creates opportunity to bring daylight to follow a piano-like pattern into the project.
Durable composite wood and poly-glass are the two main material used here. If budget allowed, poly-glass could be replaced with colored glass to make a more cheerful design.
